Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs across Chicago neighborhoods
- Collaborate with community organizations and healthcare providers to address health disparities
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Analyze epidemiological data to inform public health strategies and interventions
- Lead crisis response coordination for public health emergencies
- Train staff and community members on health education initiatives
- Prepare detailed reports for county leadership and funding agencies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Nursing, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of program coordination experience in public health/government
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or willing to obtain within 6 months
- Strong data analysis skills with experience in public health databases
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse populations
- Experience managing grants and budgets over $500,000
- Valid Illinois driver's license and reliable transportation
- Bilingual in Spanish highly desirable
