Responsibilities
- Design and oversee implementation of public health programs targeting chronic disease prevention and health equity
- Manage program budgets and ensure compliance with federal/state health regulations
- Coordinate community outreach initiatives and stakeholder engagement activities
- Analyze epidemiological data to assess program effectiveness and identify emerging health trends
- Develop grant proposals and reports to secure funding and demonstrate impact
- Supervise program staff and volunteers to ensure quality service delivery
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on city-wide public health initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public health program management
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities for diverse audiences
- Valid Ohio driver's license and reliable transportation for community site visits
- Experience with grant writing and federal compliance (CDC/HHS)
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or willingness to obtain within 12 months
- Knowledge of Cleveland's public health landscape and community resources
