Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health strategies for underserved Detroit communities
- Manage $2M+ budgets for chronic disease prevention programs
- Oversee cross-functional teams of epidemiologists and outreach specialists
- Coordinate with CDC and Michigan Department of Health for grant compliance
- Analyze health data to drive policy recommendations for city council
- Lead community engagement initiatives across 7 Detroit districts
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field (MPH preferred)
- 5+ years program management in government/public health
- PH certification or eligible for certification
- Experience with HRSA grant applications and reporting
- Advanced proficiency in SPSS/R for health data analysis
- Valid Michigan driver's license with clean record
- Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency required
