Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee public health programs targeting chronic disease prevention, maternal health, and emergency preparedness
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify community health trends and inform program strategies
- Manage program budgets, resources, and reporting requirements for state/federal grants
- Collaborate with community partners, healthcare providers, and government agencies to implement health initiatives
- Evaluate program effectiveness using KPIs and prepare comprehensive reports for leadership
- Lead crisis response coordination during public health emergencies
- Supervise program staff and provide mentorship in public health best practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public health program management
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS) and health information systems
- Demonstrated experience with grant writing and federal/state compliance
- Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present to diverse stakeholders
- Valid Ohio driver's license and willingness to travel county-wide
