Responsibilities
- Develop and execute public health programs targeting chronic disease prevention and health equity
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify community health trends and emerging threats
- Coordinate with local healthcare providers, community organizations, and government agencies
- Manage program budgets and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Prepare detailed reports for legislative stakeholders and senior leadership
- Supervise program staff and provide guidance on public health best practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program management
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in SPSS/R
- Experience with grant writing and federal funding applications
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Knowledge of Texas public health codes and regulations
