Responsibilities
- Design and oversee evidence-based public health initiatives targeting vulnerable populations
- Manage program budgets, reporting requirements, and compliance with state/federal regulations
- Lead stakeholder engagement with healthcare providers, community organizations, and government agencies
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health disparities and program effectiveness
- Develop grant proposals and secure funding for health equity initiatives
- Supervise program staff and coordinate interdepartmental projects
- Present program outcomes to county leadership and community stakeholders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- 3+ years program management experience in government/nonprofit setting
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or equivalent credential
- Proficient in data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, or R)
- Demonstrated success in grant writing and budget management
- Experience developing culturally competent health interventions
- Strong project management skills with ability to manage competing priorities
- Valid NC driver's license required
