Responsibilities
- Oversee development and implementation of statewide public health programs
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends
- Manage $2M+ budgets with federal/state grant compliance
- Coordinate with local health departments and community partners
- Develop evidence-based health policy recommendations
- Lead crisis response initiatives for public health emergencies
- Mentor junior staff and conduct program evaluations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field
- 5+ years public health program management experience
- PH certification (CPH) or equivalent credential
- Advanced data analysis and statistical modeling skills
- Experience with CDC grant administration
- Strong knowledge of NC public health regulations
- Excellent stakeholder communication abilities
