Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Manage grant budgets exceeding $2M and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Collaborate with local health departments, NGOs, and community stakeholders
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health threats
- Supervise program staff and evaluate intervention effectiveness
- Prepare legislative reports and policy recommendations for state officials
- Coordinate emergency response protocols during public health crises
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 5+ years of public health program management experience
- Valid California Public Health Manager certification
- Expertise in CMS 1500/UB-04 billing and grant compliance
- Proficiency in SPSS, SAS, or Tableau for data analysis
- Demonstrated success in leading multi-agency initiatives
- Knowledge of HIPAA, ADA, and Title X regulations
- Spanish bilingual proficiency preferred
