Responsibilities
- Develop and implement public health programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and risks
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for public health crises
- Collaborate with federal, state, and local agencies on health initiatives
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with regulations
- Conduct community outreach and education campaigns
- Prepare detailed reports for state legislature and policy stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 3 years government/public health experience
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or willing to obtain within 6 months
- Proficient in data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, or R)
- Valid Arizona driver's license
- Experience with grant writing and federal/state compliance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure during public health emergencies
