Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and evaluate public health programs focused on health equity and disease prevention
- Manage budgets and resources for health initiatives across Chicago's diverse communities
- Collaborate with community organizations, healthcare providers, and government agencies
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and inform strategic planning
- Lead emergency preparedness initiatives and public health crisis response
- Supervise program staff and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Prepare grant proposals and reports for funding agencies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public health program management
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Strong knowledge of CDC guidelines and local health regulations
- Experience managing multi-year budgets over $500K
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse community stakeholders
