Responsibilities
- Develop and execute evidence-based public health programs targeting community wellness initiatives
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and prioritize intervention strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate health education campaigns
- Manage program budgets and ensure compliance with federal/state health regulations
- Conduct community outreach and stakeholder engagement activities
- Prepare comprehensive reports on program outcomes and metrics
- Stay current on public health policies and best practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years experience in public health program implementation
- Strong data analysis and statistical modeling skills
- Valid Virginia driver's license
- Experience with health program evaluation methodologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Knowledge of local health department operations
