Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and evaluate evidence-based public health programs targeting underserved communities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify trends and inform strategic health interventions
- Collaborate with local health departments, nonprofits, and state agencies on cross-functional initiatives
- Develop comprehensive grant proposals and manage program budgets totaling $500K+
- Conduct community needs assessments and stakeholder outreach to ensure program alignment
- Prepare detailed reports for legislative briefings and public health advisory boards
- Lead emergency response protocols for public health crises
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Health Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program management
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS) and GIS mapping
- Valid Arizona Driver's License and reliable transportation for fieldwork
- Experience with federal/state grant compliance (HRSA, CDC)
- Strong written/verbal communication skills demonstrated through policy briefs
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Bilingual Spanish/English required for community engagement
