Responsibilities
- Develop and execute emergency public health response protocols for Dallas County
- Oversee community health education campaigns targeting underserved populations
- Coordinate with state and federal health agencies for resource allocation
- Analyze epidemiological data to inform policy recommendations
- Manage a team of public health specialists and field investigators
- Lead crisis communication during public health emergencies
- Ensure compliance with CDC and Texas DSHS regulations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field (MPH preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive public health administration experience
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Proven crisis management and emergency response leadership
- Advanced proficiency in health data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, Tableau)
- Experience with grant writing and federal funding programs
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
- Bilingual English/Spanish highly desirable
