- Collaborate with local healthcare providers and community organizations
- Prepare detailed reports and grant proposals for public health initiatives
- Train staff on health safety protocols and emergency preparedness
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public health or healthcare administration
- Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) preferred
- Proficiency in epidemiological data analysis tools (e.g., SAS, SPSS)
- Strong understanding of Texas public health regulations
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends for community events
