Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and inform policy recommendations
- Coordinate multi-agency partnerships for emergency response and health crisis management
- Conduct community health assessments and outreach initiatives across Cleveland neighborhoods
- Manage grant-funded projects ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations
- Prepare comprehensive reports for public health council meetings and stakeholder briefings
- Train community health workers on disease prevention and health education strategies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (required)
- 3+ years of experience in government/public health program implementation
- Valid Ohio Public Health Professional credential (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Advanced proficiency in SPSS/R for statistical analysis and data visualization
- Proven track record in grant writing and federal compliance management
- Excellent communication skills with diverse community stakeholders
- Certification in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean record
