Responsibilities
- Develop and execute community health initiatives targeting underserved populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and inform strategic planning
- Coordinate outbreak investigations and emergency response protocols
- Manage grant-funded health programs and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Provide technical assistance to community organizations and healthcare providers
- Prepare comprehensive reports for city council and public health boards
- Lead health education campaigns across diverse cultural communities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of public health program implementation experience
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) designation preferred
- Proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R, SAS) and GIS mapping
- Experience with grant writing and federal funding compliance
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish highly desirable
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- Knowledge of Title X and ACA healthcare regulations
