Responsibilities
- Lead epidemiological investigations for disease outbreaks and public health emergencies
- Develop and implement evidence-based health intervention programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Analyze health data trends to inform policy recommendations and resource allocation
- Coordinate community outreach initiatives to promote vaccination and preventive care
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, schools, and local government agencies
- Prepare urgent public health reports and emergency response protocols
- Manage grants and funding for health equity initiatives across Duval County
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in SPSS/R
- Experience with emergency preparedness and crisis response
- Valid Florida Driver's License
- Ability to work flexible hours during public health emergencies
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
