Responsibilities
- Develop and implement community health assessment programs to identify population health needs and disparities
- Coordinate disease surveillance and outbreak response protocols for public health emergencies
- Design and deliver health education campaigns targeting vulnerable populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to inform policy recommendations and intervention strategies
- Collaborate with community organizations and healthcare providers to build health equity initiatives
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with public health regulations
- Prepare comprehensive reports for city leadership and state health agencies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R)
- Experience developing community health outreach initiatives
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or willingness to obtain within 6 months
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and public health reporting requirements
- Excellent written communication skills for policy documents and public education materials
