Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting community wellness initiatives
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health disparities and inform strategic interventions
- Coordinate with community partners, healthcare providers, and local organizations for collaborative outreach
- Design and deliver health education campaigns focusing on preventive care and disease prevention
- Monitor program effectiveness through KPI tracking and impact assessments
- Prepare detailed reports and policy recommendations for public health leadership
- Stay current with CDC guidelines and Tennessee public health regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public health program implementation or community health roles
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS) and health information systems
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or willingness to obtain within 6 months
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse populations
- Valid Tennessee driver's license with reliable transportation
- Experience with grant writing and budget management for health programs
