Responsibilities
- Develop and implement community health programs targeting Minneapolis' diverse populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and risks
- Coordinate with healthcare providers, schools, and nonprofits on health education initiatives
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with public health regulations
- Conduct community outreach and stakeholder engagement activities
- Prepare detailed reports on program outcomes and health metrics
- Advise policymakers on evidence-based public health interventions
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., SPSS, R)
- Experience with community engagement and coalition building
- Knowledge of local and federal public health regulations
- Valid Minnesota driver's license
- Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) preferred
