Responsibilities
- Develop and execute community health assessment strategies targeting Chicago neighborhoods
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and prioritize interventions
- Coordinate with healthcare providers, local governments, and non-profits for program implementation
- Design culturally responsive health education materials and outreach campaigns
- Monitor program outcomes and prepare comprehensive reports for stakeholders
- Secure grant funding and manage budgets for public health initiatives
- Advise policymakers on evidence-based public health solutions
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program management
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Strong knowledge of Chicago's public health landscape and demographics
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated experience with community engagement and coalition building
- Valid Illinois driver's license
