Responsibilities

- Conduct epidemiological surveillance and analyze disease trends using GIS mapping
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for public health crises
- Collaborate with community organizations to expand health access programs
- Manage grant-funded health initiatives and prepare compliance reports
- Train healthcare providers on updated public health protocols
- Advocate for policy changes addressing social determinants of health
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of public health program implementation experience
- Texas Department of State Health Services certification or equivalent
- Proficiency in SPSS, SAS, or R for statistical analysis
- Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish (required)
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Experience with CDC grant reporting procedures
- Knowledge of Healthy People 2030 objectives
