Responsibilities
- Develop and execute county-wide health education campaigns targeting vulnerable populations
- Conduct epidemiological data analysis to identify emerging health trends
- Coordinate with community organizations to deliver accessible health services
- Manage grant-funded public health projects and ensure compliance with regulations
- Prepare detailed reports on health outcomes and program effectiveness
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to implement preventive care initiatives
- Represent the department at public health forums and stakeholder meetings
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field (MPH preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or willingness to obtain within 12 months
- Proficiency in epidemiological software and data visualization tools
- Strong grant management experience with federal/state funding
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Illinois driver's license and reliable transportation
