Responsibilities
- Design and implement evidence-based public health interventions targeting priority health issues
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify trends and inform strategic decision-making
- Develop community outreach programs for underserved populations
- Coordinate with healthcare providers, schools, and non-profits to build health partnerships
- Prepare comprehensive reports for county leadership and funding bodies
- Monitor program compliance with federal/state public health regulations
- Lead crisis response efforts for public health emergencies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Demonstrated experience with community health assessment methods
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Ability to work evenings/weekends for community events
