Responsibilities
- Develop and implement public health initiatives targeting chronic disease prevention and health equity
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and inform policy recommendations
- Coordinate community outreach programs and educational campaigns on health topics
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, schools, and non-profits to build health partnerships
- Prepare comprehensive reports on program outcomes and community health metrics
- Stay current on public health regulations and best practices through continuous learning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences
- Experience with grant writing and program budget management
- Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) designation highly desirable
