Responsibilities
- Design and execute public health campaigns addressing chronic disease prevention and health equity
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and priority populations
- Coordinate community outreach events and partnerships with local organizations
- Develop educational materials and training programs for healthcare providers and residents
- Monitor program outcomes and prepare comprehensive reports for county leadership
- Stay current with public health regulations and best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field required; Master's preferred
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, or R)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with community engagement and stakeholder collaboration
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean record
