Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting disease prevention and health education
- Conduct epidemiological surveillance and data analysis to identify emerging health trends
- Coordinate community outreach initiatives and stakeholder partnerships
- Manage grant-funded projects ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for county leadership
- Lead emergency response protocols during public health crises
- Maintain accurate health records and ensure HIPAA compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of public health program experience
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or willingness to obtain within 6 months
- Proficiency in health data analysis software (e.g., SAS, R, SPSS)
- Strong written/verbal communication skills
- Experience with grant writing and compliance management
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license
