Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Conduct epidemiological investigations and data analysis for disease surveillance
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for public health crises
- Lead community outreach initiatives to promote vaccination and preventive care
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and non-profit organizations on health equity initiatives
- Prepare grant proposals and manage program budgets for public health initiatives
- Train staff and community members on public health best practices and regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or willingness to obtain within 6 months
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Strong grant writing and budget management experience
- Excellent communication skills with diverse stakeholders
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license and ability to travel county-wide
- Experience with emergency response planning (NIMS/ICS certification a plus)
