Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based health education programs targeting underserved populations
- Collaborate with community organizations to address health disparities and promote preventive care
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health threats and inform policy recommendations
- Manage grant-funded projects related to chronic disease prevention and maternal health
- Conduct community needs assessments and prepare comprehensive health impact reports
- Coordinate emergency preparedness initiatives including vaccination campaigns
- Represent the department at public forums and stakeholder meetings
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in SPSS or SAS
- Experience managing grants and budgets (>$100K)
- Knowledge of Missouri public health regulations and CMS guidelines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates strongly encouraged
