Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based health education programs for diverse communities
- Conduct epidemiological surveillance and analyze public health data trends
- Coordinate emergency response initiatives for public health threats
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and community organizations to address health disparities
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Provide technical guidance to local businesses and schools on health protocols
- Prepare comprehensive reports for county commissioners and public health board
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in SPSS or SAS
- Experience with grant writing and budget management
- Excellent communication skills for diverse stakeholder engagement
- Valid Colorado driver's license and reliable transportation
