Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting underserved communities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and recommend intervention strategies
- Coordinate emergency response protocols during public health crises
- Partner with community organizations to deliver health education and outreach initiatives
- Prepare detailed reports and policy recommendations for county leadership
- Supervise health program staff and volunteer resources
- Manage grant-funded projects ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Valid California Public Health Registration (PHR) or equivalent certification
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Demonstrated experience working with diverse populations and health equity frameworks
- Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
