Responsibilities
- Lead COVID-19 and other public health emergency response operations
- Develop and implement data-driven health intervention strategies
- Coordinate with community organizations and healthcare providers
- Prepare and present public health reports to county leadership
- Manage grant-funded health programs and compliance
- Conduct epidemiological investigations and risk assessments
- Train staff and community members on health protocols
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field
- 3+ years of public health emergency response experience
- Valid California Public Health Microbiologist certification
- Expertise in epidemiological data analysis tools (e.g., SAS, R)
- Demonstrated crisis management and project leadership
- Strong written/verbal communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA and CA public health regulations
