Responsibilities
- Design and coordinate community health education programs targeting underserved populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify public health trends and recommend interventions
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and community organizations for outreach initiatives
- Develop grant proposals to secure funding for health promotion projects
- Monitor compliance with county health regulations and reporting requirements
- Present findings to policymakers and stakeholder committees
- Lead crisis response coordination during public health emergencies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Demonstrated experience with community-based participatory research
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Valid New York State driver's license
- Knowledge of NYC health equity initiatives preferred
