Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health interventions targeting vulnerable populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and outbreak patterns
- Coordinate with healthcare providers, schools, and community organizations on health education campaigns
- Manage grant-funded projects related to chronic disease prevention and health equity
- Prepare comprehensive reports for county leadership and state health department compliance
- Respond to public health emergencies and participate in crisis management protocols
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health (MPH) or related field required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Strong grant writing and budget management experience
- Valid New Mexico driver's license with clean driving record
- Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish preferred
