Responsibilities
- Design and execute community health education programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging public health threats
- Collaborate with local healthcare providers to coordinate response strategies
- Manage grant-funded projects ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations
- Lead community outreach initiatives in underserved Tucson neighborhoods
- Develop health policy recommendations for County Board approval
- Train public health staff on crisis intervention protocols
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field
- 3+ years of experience in community health program implementation
- Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) credential required
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Experience with grant writing and compliance reporting
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean record
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency preferred
- Knowledge of Arizona public health regulations
