Responsibilities
- Design and execute public health programs targeting chronic disease prevention and health equity initiatives
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health threats and inform intervention strategies
- Collaborate with community stakeholders to implement culturally competent health education campaigns
- Develop grant proposals and manage federal/state public health funding allocations
- Lead crisis response coordination for public health emergencies
- Conduct health impact assessments for county policies and development projects
- Maintain compliance with CO state public health regulations and reporting requirements
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of public health program implementation experience
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Advanced proficiency in epidemiological data analysis tools (e.g., SAS, R, SPSS)
- Demonstrated success in securing and managing public health grants
- Experience developing community health partnerships in diverse urban/rural settings
- Knowledge of Colorado public health regulations and Title X requirements
- Valid Colorado driver's license and reliable transportation
