Responsibilities
- Design and deliver evidence-based public health initiatives targeting chronic disease prevention and health equity
- Collaborate with community partners to address social determinants of health
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and resource needs
- Develop educational materials and conduct outreach for diverse populations
- Monitor program effectiveness and prepare compliance reports for funding agencies
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for public health threats
- Advise policymakers on evidence-based health interventions
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of public health program implementation experience
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in SPSS or R
- Experience developing culturally responsive health education materials
- Ability to build relationships with community stakeholders
- Valid Kansas driver's license
- Knowledge of CDC and KDHE protocols
