Responsibilities
- Develop and implement public health education campaigns targeting underserved communities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and recommend interventions
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for public health crises
- Partner with local healthcare providers to improve access to preventive services
- Manage grant-funded health initiatives and ensure compliance with federal regulations
- Conduct community health assessments and publish actionable reports
- Advocate for policy changes addressing social determinants of health
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field required
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Valid Texas Public Health Certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SPSS, SAS, R)
- Strong written communication skills for grant proposals and policy briefs
- Experience with community outreach and stakeholder engagement
- Knowledge of HIPAA and CDC guidelines
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish preferred
