Responsibilities
- Develop and execute public health education campaigns targeting diverse populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and prioritize interventions
- Coordinate emergency preparedness response protocols for public health threats
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and community organizations to expand outreach
- Manage grant-funded programs ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations
- Conduct community needs assessments and program evaluations
- Prepare comprehensive reports for departmental leadership and stakeholders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, R)
- Strong written/verbal communication skills with diverse audiences
- Experience with grant writing and federal compliance (e.g., CDC guidelines)
- Valid Indiana driver's license
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional evenings/weekends
