Responsibilities
- Develop and execute public health programs targeting chronic disease prevention and health equity
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and recommend interventions
- Coordinate with community organizations and healthcare providers to deliver outreach initiatives
- Prepare grant proposals and manage program budgets for health improvement projects
- Conduct health education workshops and policy briefings for diverse stakeholders
- Monitor compliance with state/federal public health regulations and reporting requirements
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field (MPH preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in government or non-profit health program implementation
- Valid California Public Health Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Advanced proficiency in epidemiological data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, R)
- Experience with grant writing and federal/state funding applications
- Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish or Khmer strongly preferred
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
