Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting chronic disease prevention and health equity
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and inform strategic interventions
- Collaborate with community organizations to design outreach initiatives for underserved populations
- Prepare comprehensive reports and grant proposals to secure funding for health initiatives
- Coordinate emergency response protocols during public health crises
- Train healthcare staff and community partners on best practices in public health education
- Advocate for policy changes that support population health improvement
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field with 3+ years of experience
- Valid Ohio Public Health Registration (PHR) or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., SPSS, R)
- Demonstrated experience in community health program development and evaluation
- Strong written/verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and health data privacy regulations
- Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) preferred
- Valid Ohio driver's license with reliable transportation
