Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and evaluate public health intervention programs targeting chronic disease prevention and health equity
- Analyze epidemiological data and prepare comprehensive reports for policy development
- Coordinate community health outreach initiatives and partner with local organizations
- Conduct health education workshops and develop educational materials for diverse populations
- Monitor compliance with public health regulations and recommend policy improvements
- Manage program budgets and grant reporting requirements
- Lead crisis response coordination during public health emergencies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field required
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Valid New Mexico Public Health Practitioner certification preferred
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS) and GIS software
- Strong grant writing and budget management experience
- Excellent communication skills with ability to engage diverse stakeholders
- Knowledge of Title X, Medicaid, and CMS compliance regulations
- Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish highly desirable
