Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting chronic disease prevention and health equity
- Conduct community health needs assessments and data analysis to identify priority populations
- Coordinate multi-agency partnerships for health initiatives and emergency response planning
- Provide health education outreach and training to community stakeholders
- Monitor program outcomes using surveillance systems and report metrics to leadership
- Secure and manage grant funding for public health initiatives
- Advocate for policy changes supporting population health improvement
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Proficiency in health data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, or R)
- Valid Missouri driver's license with clean record
- Experience with grant writing and federal funding processes
- Strong interpersonal skills for community engagement
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Knowledge of Missouri public health regulations
