Responsibilities
- Design and execute community health assessment initiatives targeting vulnerable populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify public health priorities and trends
- Develop evidence-based health education materials in English and Spanish
- Coordinate emergency preparedness response protocols for public health threats
- Manage grant-funded programs promoting preventive care and wellness
- Liaise with healthcare providers, community organizations, and government agencies
- Prepare comprehensive reports for county leadership and regulatory bodies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years experience in public health program implementation
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software (SPSS, R, SAS)
- Spanish bilingual proficiency required
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) designation preferred
- Demonstrated success in community coalition building
- Valid Florida driver's license
- Experience with CDC/DOH reporting protocols
