Responsibilities
- Develop and implement community health assessment plans for diverse Minneapolis neighborhoods
- Coordinate outbreak response and public health emergency preparedness initiatives
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health disparities and inform intervention strategies
- Manage grant-funded programs targeting maternal health, immunization access, and chronic disease prevention
- Train healthcare providers on public health protocols and cultural competency practices
- Lead inter-agency coalitions addressing social determinants of health
- Prepare reports and presentations for county commissioners and community stakeholders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Demonstrated experience with community engagement and health equity initiatives
- Valid Minnesota driver's license with reliable transportation
- Ability to work evenings/weekends for community events and emergency responses
