Responsibilities
- Develop and execute county-wide health education programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging public health threats
- Leverage community partnerships to promote vaccination and disease prevention
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for public health crises
- Manage grant-funded health initiatives and ensure compliance with federal standards
- Conduct field investigations for disease outbreaks and environmental health hazards
- Present public health data to county commissioners and community stakeholders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field (required)
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Proficient in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, SPSS)
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
- Experience with grant writing and federal reporting
- Knowledge of HIPAA and public health emergency laws
