Responsibilities
- Design, coordinate, and evaluate public health initiatives targeting chronic disease prevention and health equity
- Conduct community needs assessments and data analysis to identify priority health concerns
- Develop educational materials and outreach campaigns for diverse populations
- Partner with local healthcare providers, schools, and non-profits for program implementation
- Monitor program metrics and prepare comprehensive reports for county leadership
- Stay current with public health trends and best practices through continuous learning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Nursing, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in public health program development or community health
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in health information systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends for community events
- Experience with grant writing and budget management
