Responsibilities
- Design and implement population health programs targeting chronic disease prevention and health equity
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify local health trends and prioritize intervention strategies
- Collaborate with community stakeholders to coordinate public health initiatives and outreach events
- Develop educational materials and conduct health literacy workshops for diverse populations
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with state health regulations
- Lead emergency preparedness responses for public health crises
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in SPSS or R statistical software
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Valid Virginia driver's license and reliable transportation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Experience with grant writing and budget management
