Responsibilities
- Design and execute community health initiatives targeting disease prevention and health promotion
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify public health trends and prioritize interventions
- Coordinate with healthcare providers and community organizations to deliver outreach programs
- Develop educational materials and workshops on health topics like immunization and nutrition
- Manage program budgets and ensure compliance with county and state regulations
- Prepare comprehensive reports on program outcomes for stakeholders and funding agencies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or equivalent credential
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Strong grant writing and budget management experience
- Excellent communication skills with diverse community groups
- Valid Nebraska driver's license and reliable transportation
