Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting chronic disease prevention and health education
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and inform strategic interventions
- Collaborate with community organizations to design culturally competent outreach initiatives
- Conduct health assessments and prepare comprehensive reports for policy development
- Coordinate emergency response protocols during public health crises
- Manage grant-funded projects ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations
- Train healthcare providers on public health best practices and resource allocation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (MPH preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Proficient in statistical analysis software (e.g., SPSS, R, SAS)
- Demonstrated experience with community engagement and stakeholder collaboration
- Knowledge of Florida public health regulations and grant management
- Strong written/verbal communication skills with bilingual capabilities in Spanish/Creole
